Rosetta con Porchetta
•
Every weekend Spaccio East and West are serving up our roasted porchetta (pork) panini served in rosetta buns.
These buns are quintessentially Roman although they actually originate in Milan. Rosetta’s main characteristic is its hollowness which makes it the perfect vessel for toppings like our perfectly roasted porchetta.
Fun fact: The name ”rosetta” means little rose. It describes the process the bun undergoes as it bakes, opening up opens up like a blooming rose.
Rosetta con Porchetta are available at Spaccio East and West every Saturday from Noon.
